Growing up, Bjørn Olav Edvardsen was seen as quite shy and introvert, yet filled with energy and creativity - looking ahead with big dreams of becoming an artist. Hence, at the age of 9 he enrolled in classical singing and vocal lessons, which soon lead him onto a path of musical and theatre. When turning 11 he also went to a Children's International Summer Village in India, where he performed for thousands of people - representing Norway. As time went by, he tried out in several genres e.g. impro, stage shows and choirs – while in 2005 he took it to a different professional level. He pursued one of his dreams and was voted a finalist in the Norwegian Idol – entering fame overnight, after winning one of the semi-finals together with Jorun Stiansen (Who won the Idol that year). This experience gave Bjørn Olav Edvardsen what he needed, and he has been doing music ever since. This includes TV performances, concerts, voiceacting and singing in musicals, cartoons, live - action series and commercials. Songwriting, publishing and releasing music is also a part of what he does - as the CEO and founder of his own record label.

There is no doubt that Bjørn Olav Edvardsen is an exceptional talent and well-rounded artist, as he does everything from acoustic, intimate concerts - to larger stages and TV - performances. In 2019 he also started co-writing with other artists and songwriters, which has resulted in several releases. The latest co-write was with IMERIKA and her debut single "I Can't Escape",  which was one of the finalists in the Norwegian election for EUROVISION 2021.
